Tax Technology & Transformation - Senior Manager

is looking for a Senior Manager to lead tax technology initiatives across the Tax practice.

We are a dynamic, partner-led team with diverse Tax, Finance and IT backgrounds.
Our team works with market-leading clients in a broad range of industry sectors to advise them on and to implement the right technology solutions for tax.
We help clients design and implement the right tax technology strategies to handle tax risks, improve efficiency and take advantage of the opportunities presented by technology.
Our team is expanding due to clients' growing demand for efficient processes and technology as the volume and complexity of global tax compliance and regulatory requirements continues to increase.
What We Do
Develop long-term tax technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
Design, build and implement tax solutions using best-in-class AI, robotics, data extraction, transformation and analytics.
Implement market-leading tax compliance and reporting solutions, tax workflow management and PwC-hosted SaaS.
Optimize core ERP systems to support efficient delivery of data for tax process execution.
Responsibilities
Lead go-to-market business development initiatives while researching and integrating emerging technologies.
Interpret and document client's tax and business requirements to support future state system design and appropriate mix of tax technology solutions.
Lead project delivery teams in designing, building and integrating tax technology-enabled solutions for clients.
Build strong relationships and work across key client stakeholder groups (transfer pricing, corporate tax, indirect tax, finance, IT, etc.) and with PwC specialists internally and across PwC's global network.
Motivate the team to perform at their best, provide mentorship and guidance to allow them to reach their full potential.
Qualifications
8+ years experience in tax or tax technology consultancy with at least 3 years managerial experience.
Consistent track record in leading, designing and implementing best-in-class tax technology solutions.
Considerable experience with tax technology solutions in ERP systems and/or tax engines (SAP, Oracle, MSFT Dynamics, OneSource, Vertex, etc.).
Certification or extensive experience in agile technology and analytic solutions (MS VBA, SQL, MS Power Apps, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath).
Deep technical and project-management capabilities from leading large and sophisticated tax transformation projects.
Experience with a Big 4 firm, large ERP/consulting organisation or multinational company with tax related experience preferred.
Strong academic record (ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification preferred).
Innovative and bold to develop business opportunities within the tax technology and transformation offering.
Superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
Leadership – commitment and experience to developing yourself, your team members, your clients and your business.
