Education and Training Specialist Role Overview
This position focuses on developing educational programs, creating learning materials, and coordinating project implementation to ensure high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver educational content that meets industry standards.
Job Description:
* Create engaging learner-focused content, including textbooks, microlearning activities, and practical study supports.
* Co-ordinate education development projects by working closely with authors, examiners, lecturers, and other industry professionals to keep projects on track and aligned with quality standards.
* Support learners through the assessment process by guiding students through assessment results preparation and brochures for examination and moderation board meetings.
* Evaluate educational programs to ensure they meet National Qualifications Framework insurance industry requirements in terms of standards and documentation.
* Analyse student engagement and feedback data to help improve course materials and enhance the learner journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in developing educational materials in a similar role.
* Third-level qualification preferred, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to other software.
* Proficiency in project management, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.
* Professional insurance qualification (APA, CIP, or technical insurance knowledge) an advantage but not essential.
