Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's risk management strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
This position requires the development and implementation of a comprehensive Risk Management Framework (RMF) aligned with industry best practices. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining robust risk assessment methodologies, including Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
* Identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks across operational, technology, cybersecurity, fraud, transaction processing, and third-party domains.
* Leading the development of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies to enhance operational resilience.
* Overseeing incident management and response processes, ensuring timely incident mitigation and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
* A bachelor's degree in risk management, business, finance, or a related field.
* 5-8 years of experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, or compliance within financial services, fintech, or crypto-related businesses.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and relevant certifications.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
