The VacancyJennings O’Donovan & Partners, part of RSK Group, are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in Environmental Science to join our expanding environmental team. Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 7 years’ experience working post-qualification.The successful candidate must have the ability to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex environmental projects, ensuring compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project success. The candidate should have a strong understanding of environmental regulations, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams. A proven track record of designing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives is essential.Key Responsibilities:Develop key project management tasks including project plans, timelines, financial management of budgets, producing fee proposals, and tendering for work.Work with the existing Environmental Team on environmental aspects of diverse projects including renewable energy, infrastructure, and private commercial projects.Lead, coordinate, supervise, and mentor other Environmental Scientists (both in-house staff and external sub-contractors) to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work on time and within budget.Manage resource allocation of work schedules, provide guidance, technical review, and on-the-job training to team members.Provide technical environmental advice and recommendations to clients, including face-to-face meetings, especially where risks may impact project timelines or delivery.
