Legal Secretary Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage a high workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
About the Job
We provide a range of expert legal services to both commercial and private clients, specialising in areas such as conveyancing, litigation, dispute resolution, mediation, corporate law, and estate planning. Key responsibilities include:
* Accurately transcribe and type correspondence from dictation
* Draft and format legal documents, including Wills, Declarations, Affidavits, Deeds, Leases, Commercial Agreements, Contracts, and applications for registration
* Prepare and compile Counsel briefs
* Assist with the preparation of closing documents for transactions and manage title deeds scheduling
* Type Requisitions on Title as dictated
* Open and maintain digital and physical files
* Provide administrative support, including handling invoicing and general office tasks
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a busy legal environment
* At least one year experience in conveyancing
* A proven ability to manage a high workload and prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong organisational skills and proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and brief-building applications
* A high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
* The ability to work independently when necessary
