Role Overview:As our Crèche Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in line with HSE and HACCP standards. You will work closely with our management team to ensure all dietary needs are met in a safe, hygienic, and homely kitchen environment.Key Responsibilities:Follow weekly menus that are healthy, balanced, and suitable for children aged 1 year to 5 yearsof agePrepare and cook daily meals and snacks in accordance with dietary and allergy requirementsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in line with food safety standards and HACCP proceduresOrder and manage stock efficiently, minimising wasteMaintain daily food logs, temperature checks, and cleaning schedulesCollaborate with crèche staff and management on menu planning and nutrition educationCater to special dietary requirements, including allergies and cultural preferencesComply with all relevant health and safety and food hygiene regulationsWelcome regular kitchen inspections and audits with professionalism and readinessRequirements:Previous experience in a similar role, preferableQualification in Food Hygiene and HACCP (can be provided if necessary)Ability to plan meals and adapt recipes for dietary restrictions (e.g., dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian)Strong organisational skills and attention to cleanliness and detailFriendly, flexible, and reliable team playerGarda Vetting and 2 references will be required prior to employment commencingJob Type: Part-timePay: €14.15-€15.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 per weekWork Location: In person
