Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Coordinator to oversee the implementation of traffic control measures for roadworks and infrastructure projects.
This role supports the planning and delivery of scheduled works by ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on public roads.
* Coordinate, install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems
* Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic control activities
* Monitor, record, and report on traffic management operations
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and traffic regulations
* Work closely with site teams, contractors, and local stakeholders
Skill Requirements
* Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role
* Full, clean driving licence
* Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
Desirable Skills
* Qualification in Traffic Management (e.g. SLG, TTMO, or equivalent)
* Category E driving licence (support and training provided if not currently held)
