The Project
Following the successful delivery of Phase 1, we are accelerating into Phases 2 and 3 of one of the most significant DCS migrations in the Irish biopharmaceutical sector. We are transitioning a world-class facility from Foxboro to DeltaV, running these phases in parallel to drive a digital-first transformation.
We are seeking a mix of Junior and Senior DeltaV Engineers to join the team onsite in Cork. With detailed design kicking off in Q3 2026, we are looking to onboard talent now to ensure a seamless transition into this multi-year journey.
The Role
Working directly under the guidance of the Technical Lead and Associate Director, you will be part of a high-performing automation team responsible for:
Design & Architecture: Driving the detailed design phase for a complex DCS overhaul.
Parallel Execution: Navigating the technical challenges of running Phase 2 and 3 concurrently.
Migration Strategy: Translating legacy Foxboro logic into optimized, modern DeltaV control strategies.
Lifecycle Management: Supporting the project through the full GAMP5 lifecycle, from initial design through to 2028 commissioning.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Emerson DeltaV. Familiarity with Foxboro or similar legacy systems is highly advantageous.
Commitment to Site: As this is a critical infrastructure project, this is an onsite role based in Cork, offering the chance to work directly with the hardware and the engineering leadership.
Professionalism: A track record of delivering high-quality automation solutions in a regulated (GMP) environment.
