Job Overview The Senior Engineering Leader oversees the engineering function as the senior representative, coordinating with line managers and providing engineering leadership for their respective projects. This is a key project role that requires collaboration with contractors and direct team members. Duties and Responsibilities * Manage dimensional control by demonstrating advanced awareness in best practices and rotating global grids into local grid format. * Evaluate site engineers' management of survey equipment to ensure efficient use. * Confirm completed 'as-built surveys' for key elements while understanding tolerances across multiple interfaces to highlight potential problems. * Maintain an individual daily diary to track progress. Skill Requirements This position demands proficiency in quality control principles, specifically reviewing inspection plans. Strong knowledge of concrete, drainage, steelwork, and brickwork packages is also essential along with being comfortable creating Inspection & Test Plans.
