This is a hands-on, varied role working acrossmobile mapping, UAV/drone surveys, laser scanning, MBS and traditional topographic surveys— using some of the best equipment in the industry.If you enjoy beingon site, working with modern survey technology, and developing new skills across different survey disciplines, this role will suit you well.About the RolePredominantly site-based, with time spent in the office for processing and drawing productionWork on a wide range of projects using GNSS, Total Stations, laser scanners, UAVs and mobile mapping systems (including NavVis)Opportunity to gain experience across multiple survey methods rather than being stuck doing the same task every daySome travel required depending on project locationStrong support, training and mentoring provided — but we're also looking for someone who can bring practical skills to the table from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out surveys using GNSS, Total Stations and laser scanning equipmentAssisting with and delivering topographic, MBS, UAV and mobile mapping surveysProcessing survey data and producing plans, drawings and elevations in AutoCADWorking independently on site when required and contributing as part of a wider survey teamLiaising with management and clients to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time.Requirements3rd level qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline1+ years' experience in a land surveying roleFull, clean Category B driving licenceSafe Pass / CSCS (or willingness to obtain)Experience using Trimble survey equipment and processing software (or similar)Competent with AutoCAD for survey data processing and deliverablesComfortable working on own initiative and making site-based decisionsFlexible approach to travel and working hours when required.What We OfferSalary above industry averageExcellent career development as the company continues to growExposure to cutting-edge survey technology (NavVis, UAVs, laser scanning, mobile mapping)Work on a wide variety of projects — no two weeks are the sameFlexible working arrangementsOngoing training, upskilling and supportA role well suited to a recently qualified or early-career surveyor who wants to progress quickly
