As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the team in a residential setting. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing and supervising staff in a health or social care environment.
The successful candidate will have a Level 8 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies and a management qualification. They will also have at least three years' experience in supervisory or management roles within health or social care. Additionally, they should have five years' experience working in a Social Care Grade in a Children's Residential Centre.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and caring environment that supports young people to meet their full potential. You will work closely with families, social workers, counsellors, schools, and other relevant professionals to achieve this goal. Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support
* Leading and managing a team of staff to provide 24/7 care and support to residents
* Maintaining accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies
