We are currently recruiting for a Family Services Worker
Who are we?
We are a community-based non-profit organisation who are passionate about enhancing the lives of local children and families through education and support. Togher Family Centre has been serving the Togher community for more than 50 years. We offer a wide range of services including Early Years Education, Youth Services, Counselling, Child Contact and Family Support.

Key responsibilities of this role are:
* Manage and supervise child contact on behalf of Tusla
* Prepare concise, evidence‑based court reports and attend court when required
* Deliver family support services including Meitheal lead practitioner role and parenting programmes
* Conduct home visits, assess family needs, and monitor child safety
* Network with agencies and participate in interagency work
* Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain accurate records
* Supervise students and support staff development
Key Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in family support, child contact supervision, and supervisory roles
* Proven experience in staff and service management, report writing, and policy implementation
* Strong knowledge of intervention programmes (e.g., NVR, Parent Plus) and Tusla collaborative models
* Experience attending and giving evidence in court
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and data analysis tools
* Excellent communication, conflict management, and collaborative skills
* Bachelor’s degree in social care or related field

What would the job involve?
* Hours of Work: This is a full‑time position (35 Hours per week)
* Rate of Pay: €33,650 per annum
* This is a Fixed Term contract of 1 year’s duration with a 6‑month probationary period
