JOB SUMMARY
The role of the PMO Manager is to lead and manage a team of project managers that work cross-functionally to plan and execute programs that design and develop medical device products for our customer to subsequently be commercially manufactured at Jabil.
This role is within the Engineering and Technology (E&T) group, managing the European Healthcare E&T PM organization for Europe.
It efficiently leverages resources through coordinated planning, communication, and alignment of cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation, launch, and customer satisfaction as per established targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Project Management Team and govern the project portfolio.
Collaborate with customers (internal or external) from quotation/planning through project start and closure, both as a lead PM or PM Manager.
Staff, lead, and manage a team responsible for design and development programs.
Align the project team to customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from all functional areas and stakeholders.
Define, refine, and maintain clarity on roles and responsibilities for the team and business partners.
Provide reference and training for Project Management covering processes, tools, metrics, and reporting.
Drive well-defined processes and methodologies that optimize team effectiveness and deliver successful projects on schedule and within budget.
Identify the goals, objectives, and scope of E&T projects while working with relevant BU and divisional stakeholders.
Operate within the defined standards and procedures as set out by the organization and the customer to introduce new products.
Instill regular and consistent communication between the program team, the business unit, and the customer.
Identify potential risks and propose resolutions through the escalation process.
Maintain open and regular communication of project priorities and status with Operations Management and site leadership.
Manage weekly project reviews for the Project Management organization.
Forecast functional area budget (when applicable) and staffing needs for current and future requirements.
Work with local Project Managers and/or Global Project Management Office to deploy strategies, tools, and performance reporting.
Comply with all procedures within the company policies.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Knowledge of the organization's operating policies, procedures, culture, and guiding principles.
Prior experience in design and development environments such as Engineering, Testing, Quality, or Planning.
Experience with customer interface.
Strong operational and financial knowledge.
Substantial knowledge of Jabil and ability to leverage the organization.
Consultative skills: ability to understand true customer needs.

Medical background experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering).
PMP certification required.
Experience in medical device or regulated industries preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of work-related supervisory/management experience.
Minimum 3 years of project management experience or related discipline.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
