About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, organised, and confident Team Leader to help deliver a magical experience at Santa's Grotto this festive season
As the Grotto Cashier / Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, welcoming families, and supporting our event team to create memorable moments for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Engagement: Welcome Greet visitors warmly, handle general enquiries, and ensure exceptional customer service. Dealing professionally with customer enquiries. Manage the daily appointment list and accommodate walk-in visitors
* Sales and Merchandising: Actively promote and upsell merchandise options. Handle cash and card payments efficiently and accurately.
* Maintenance– Ensure the smooth running of the experience and create a welcoming, well-presented environment. Monitor and manage stock levels (e.g., gifts, merchandise, tickets)
* Operational Support: Assist with opening/closing procedures and perform inventory.
* Team Reporting: Guide and motivate staff to deliver an exceptional experience with enthusiasm and confidence. Provide daily handovers and updates to your line manager
About You
* Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or cashier role (retail, hospitality, or events)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
* Confident managing a small team and working in a busy environment
* Ability to excel in a dynamic, customer-facing role.
* Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
* Must be available to work weekends and peak dates in December
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
