Hours: 2 Days per week (Approx. 20hrs), Mon–Fri with flexibility for occasional weekends
Location: Cork-based vehicle – nationwide journeys
Requirements: Garda Vetting, C1 Driving Licence, Age 25+ (insurance requirement)

We are looking for a kind-hearted, calm, and compassionate driver who can offer both practical and emotional support on what can often be a difficult journey. Many of the children we transport have complex medical needs, and sadly, some face poor outcomes. This role isn't always easy, but it is deeply meaningful.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
What You'll Do
* Safely drive and care for our specialist vehicles, ensuring the highest standards at all times.
* Provide a calm, reassuring presence for children and families throughout their journey.
* Prepare vehicles for each trip, checking paperwork, supplies, and safety equipment.
* Maintain detailed and accurate journey reports.
* Uphold confidentiality and treat every family with dignity and respect.
* Support BUMBLEance events and outreach activities when needed.
Key Skills and Competencies:
What We're Looking For
* A heart for care – someone who naturally shows kindness, patience, and empathy.
* Calm under pressure and able to support others during emotional moments.
* A clean C1 driving licence with an excellent safety record.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, sometimes at short notice.
* Respect for confidentiality and a high level of personal integrity.
* Reasonable physical fitness to handle the practical demands of the role.
Experience in healthcare or patient transport is a bonus, but what matters most is your compassion and commitment.
