Electrical engineers play a vital role in the design and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale mission-critical data centre projects. As a senior electrical engineer, you will lead or support the design, review, and coordination of low-voltage (LV) electrical systems to ensure high-quality designs.
* Responsibilities include leading or supporting the design, review, and coordination of LV distribution boards and switchgear, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and associated battery solutions, diesel generators, power factor correction, surge protection, earthing, and bonding. You will also be responsible for coordinating with HV contractors/vendors for design interface.
* Additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Load schedules, Containment and cable routing layouts, Compliance specifications. Participation in WS4/WS5 validation is also required to ensure technical compliance with Building Codes Act Regulations (BCaR) and client specifications.
