Our client is a rapidly growing FS firm with offices based in Dublin City Centre. They are seeking a high-performing Finance Business Partner to support strategic decision-making across a complex, fast-paced financial services organisation. This role will work closely with senior business leaders and global finance teams to provide insight, challenge, and commercial analysis that supports growth, investment decisions, and operational effectiveness across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the lead Finance Business Partner for cost management, supporting trading desks, strategies, and support functions with commercial insight
* Design, implement, and own cost allocation and attribution frameworks, ensuring transparency and alignment with business strategy
* Deliver high-quality management information for senior management, including cost vs budget, efficiency metrics, and trend analysis
* Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing clear variance analysis and forward-looking insight
* Translate complex financial data into clear, decision-oriented insights for senior non-finance stakeholders
* Establish strong governance and data quality standards around cost reporting and attribution
* Partner with other departments e.g. tech to improve data flows, automation, and reporting scalability
* Support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced trading environment
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA qualified
* A minimum of 3 years PQE experience in a similar role (Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance)
* Proven experience building cost frameworks or MI reporting from the ground up
* Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
* Experience with data and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior, non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong ownership and accountability
