We are seeking a Project Manager ( Internal Fitouts)Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager provides leadership to project teams, manages client and stakeholder relationships, and ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory and company requirements.John Sisk & Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change.Project DeliveryPlan, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed programme, budget and specificationsLead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction functionsMonitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where requiredEnsure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achievedMaintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality and performance indicatorsQuality, Safety and CompliancePromote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all activitiesEnsure all works comply with design, specifications and statutory regulationsImplement and monitor project-specific quality plans, method statements and inspection regimesSupport audits, inspections and reviews to maintain compliance and continuous improvementCommercial and Contract ManagementManage budgets, forecasts, variations and project cash flowWork closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and contract administrationEnsure procurement processes are followed and subcontractor performance is managed effectivelySupport tendering and bid processes where requiredLeadership and CommunicationLead project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional developmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partnersChair progress and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication of objectives and outcomesAct as the key point of contact for project-related queries, decisions and escalations*Essential*Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completionStrong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractorsExcellent understanding of project delivery processes including scheduling, cost control and quality managementKnowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practiceStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDesirableExperience delivering projects in sectors such as life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial constructionUnderstanding of digital project delivery tools including BIM and project management softwareCommercial awareness including contract law and cost management principlesAbility to lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote innovation*Essential*Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in project management within a Tier 1 construction or engineering environmentRelevant health and safety certification (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent)DesirableProfessional membership or working towards membership of a recognised body (e.g. CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE)Postgraduate qualification in project management or business managementTraining in lean construction, digital project delivery or sustainability practicesCompetitive salary26 days annual leave plus additional company daysPension and benefitsUnlimited learning and development opportunitiesMuch moreOur People and Recruitment CommitmentAt Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
