Eir business talent seeks a Helpdesk Engineer, a long‑term day‑rate contract in Longford.
The position offers a 7‑day Helpdesk Service with rota hours, requiring flexibility.
Responsibilities
The Help Desk area is responsible for key support to minimise delays in responding to staff queries and ICT issues. Tasks are performed with experience and an innovative approach to technical problem solving.
Respond to telephone and email.
Provide remote assistance.
Create and manage user Active Directory accounts.
Create and support bespoke and other applications.
Reset passwords.
Upgrade / downgrade user application access.
Image PCs/setup.
Smart device setup / support.
Backup / restore.
Provide remote assistance on site.
New user account setup.
Account removal / transfer.
Control and monitor web access.
Resolve 1st‑tier issues.
Break/fix.
Assign 2nd‑level requests to relevant parties when unresolved by Help Desk; occasionally assign to specific business system expert groups.
Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long‑term in the specified location or hold a valid long‑term work visa.
