Energy Manager (Public Sector, Dublin/Cork) – Fixed Term
Are you an energy engineer or sustainability professional with around four years’ experience, ready to step into an Energy Manager role with real climate impact? Our client, a progressive public sector organisation, is seeking an Energy Manager to support the delivery of national energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes.
Location: Dublin/ Cork/Sligo (hybrid)
Contract: Fixed-term (18 months)
Salary: €74,700
The Role
This role suits an early-career Energy Manager with a strong technical foundation who wants exposure to large-scale energy programmes, stakeholder engagement and low-carbon delivery. You will support energy efficiency, renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives across commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes
Carry out technical reviews, energy assessments and project coordination
Engage with industry stakeholders, clients and delivery partners
Monitor, analyse and report on energy and emissions performance
Essential Requirements
Degree in engineering, energy, sustainability or a related discipline (NFQ Level 7+)
Around 4 years’ experience in energy, sustainability, engineering or consultancy roles
Strong understanding of energy efficiency, renewable energy and decarbonisation
