* Be responsible for the day to day supervision of effective administrative procedures in the Radiology department
* Contribute to the professional organisation and management of a comprehensive administrative support service in the Radiology department, in consultation with the Head of Department and Radiology & Dental Coordinator
* Be responsible for the continuing development of the administrative support to the Radiology department, in conjunction with the Head of Department and Radiology & Dental Coordinator
* Play an active role in configuring the administrative functions of the Radiology department in the NCH

* Achieved Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification comparable to another jurisdiction.

Purpose of the Role

he purpose of this post is to

* Be responsible for the day to day supervision of effective administrative procedures in the Radiology department
* Contribute to the professional organisation and management of a comprehensive administrative support service in the Radiology department, in consultation with the Head of Department and Radiology & Dental Coordinator
* Be responsible for the continuing development of the administrative support to the Radiology department, in conjunction with the Head of Department and Radiology & Dental Coordinator
* Play an active role in configuring the administrative functions of the Radiology department in the NCH

Essential Criteria:

* Achieved Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification comparable to another jurisdiction.

or

* Hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least QQI Level 6 on the National Framework.
* Have at least 5 years secretarial/administrative experience with a minimum of 2 years at senior administrative/ project lead experience.
* Ability to communicate fluently in both written and orally.
* Demonstrate proficiency in the following programmes: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Proven experience in supervision and direction of staff.
