Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Coordinate bookings, completion of relevant paperwork and general usage of town hall.
* Support smooth day to day operations alongside the Caretaker/Cleaner.
* Communicate and liaise with community groups, service users and the town hall committee.
* Promote the hall as an avenue for local events and activities.
* Support procedures, safety checks and general hall organisation.
* Provide cover for the Caretaker/Cleaner during holidays or absences (By Agreement).
* Help keep Facebook and Instagram pages up to date with community news, upcoming events and hall updates.
* Use basic digital tools such as email, Excel spreadsheets, and social media platforms as needed.
* Support fundraising or promotional activities and complete grant applications where relevant.
* Coordinate and organise annual events held in the hall (e.g., Christmas Craft Market, art competition and calendar production).
* Demonstrate a strong sense of community and a desire to make a positive local impact; no prior experience necessary; commitment and enthusiasm are valued.
Note: This is a vacancy suitable for Remote/Blended working.
