The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to support the growth and development of our Sales Development team. This is an ideal step for a high‑performing SDR/BDR or Team Lead who’s ready to move into management. You’ll play a hands‑on role in coaching and supporting the team, ensuring day‑to‑day activities run smoothly, and partnering with sales and marketing to generate pipeline.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑Day Team Support: Work closely with SDRs / BDRs to ensure activities (calls, emails, social outreach) are on track and aligned to goals.
* Coaching & Development: Run regular 1:1s, call reviews, and provide feedback to help build skills and confidence.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor activity and pipeline KPIs, highlight trends, and share insights with the Sales Director.
* Campaign Support: Coordinate with Marketing and Sales to roll out outbound campaigns and ensure the team has the right messaging, tools, and lists.
* Process Enablement: Help refine cadences, update playbooks, and make sure the team uses Salesforce, Salesloft, and other tools effectively.
* Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Business Development and Account Executives to ensure smooth handovers and effective follow‑up.
* Reporting: Provide weekly updates on activity, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1–2 years’ experience as a Senior SDR / BDR or Team Lead (B2B SaaS preferred).
* Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed targets.
* Familiarity with prospecting tools and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience a plus).
* Strong communicator with a passion for helping others succeed.
* Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
