The Senior AP/AR Analyst will work with the team responsible for accounts transaction processing within the business. This role involves collaborating with Ireland AP, AR, finance related payroll issues, and banking transactions, supporting the Month End close. The role will also work very closely with suppliers, GP practices and colleagues across Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
AP & AR functions: Oversee vendor invoices, outgoing payments, cash receipts, and credit notes.
Process Improvement: Audit methods to improve efficiency, optimise cash flow.
Policy and Compliance: Design & implement standard operating procedures, ensure internal controls.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare cash flow, P&L, Balance Sheets, and provide budgeting insights.
Team Leadership: Coach, train, review performance and manage daily tasks.
Financial Recordkeeping: Reconcile accounts, monitor ageing reports.
Vendor and Customer Relations: Handle queries, verify credit limits, manage relationships.
Other Duties:
Support month‑end and annual audit with reports and documentation.
Any other duties deemed reasonable.
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Continia experience an advantage.
Minimum 7 years' experience in a busy accounts department, including team lead/management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Ability to manage teams, communicate effectively, and resolve discrepancies.
Solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving and process improvements.
