About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer, to join STS Group T&D Division. The position will be located in Ireland. What you will be doing
Compile commissioning packs for upcoming projects.
Attend project commissioning kick‑off and co‑ordination meetings.
Drive the commissioning program.
Complete project RFI/TQ’s during commissioning and manage the design log process.
Attend FAT & SAT tests when requested / required.
Ensure all required site modifications are completed and validate as‑built drawings.
Completion of commissioning and test documentation throughout project lifespan.
Configuration of protection relays, RTU, PLC, Power quality meters, and other substation automation systems.
Assist configuration and testing of SCADA systems.
Completion of pre‑ and post‑energisation testing.
Commissioning of primary and secondary equipment on projects.
Completion and submission of red‑line drawings during commissioning.
Provide declaration of fitness when commissioning is complete.
Assist junior commissioning engineers with their development.

Trade qualification through apprenticeship or engineering qualification.
5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Flexibility / adaptability.
IT literacy.
Strong communication skills.
Operational experience with test equipment.
