CineArk is a rental house that supplies specialist film equipment to film and TV production companies worldwide. We service feature film franchises, high-end TV productions and commercials, and offer technical support to the crew. With locations in London, Dublin and Cardiff, we work across features, television and broadcast.The Dublin office was established in 2021 and supports a wide range of productions shooting in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.We are seeking a Kit Room Technician to support the day-to-day duties of our Dublin facility. The Kit Room Technician will work closely with the Regional Account Manager to ensure the day-to-day business runs smoothly and customer satisfaction is maintained. The right candidate will be process-driven and have a good degree of flexibility, initiative, and common sense.You will enjoy problem-solving and learning how to use technical equipment. This role will require an amount of lone working, so you will need to be motivated, with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude. A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage workload and work to strict deadlines with attention to detail is required.The successful candidate will be provided with extensive training to learn all Kit Room processes, including logistics, administration, driving, check-in, check-out and support, learning various skills and developing a detailed understanding of industry equipment.Main responsibilities:Liaising with Regional Account Manager to fulfil the day-to-day requirements of the facility. eg. what equipment needs to be prepped, when does it need to be delivered. etc.Managing your time to ensure all tasks are completed by deadline and raising capacity issues when they ariseBuilding and testing the technical equipment for hireHandling Goods In - receiving deliveries/post and processing related paperwork, checking technical equipment is in good working order and there are no outstanding itemsHandling Goods Out - looking after all outbound collections, ensuring goods are picked, prepped, packed and loadedManaging the paperwork for goods in/out, inventory control, regular stock counts, general adminDriving vans for delivery and collection of equipment to and from film studios, which could occasional involve early starts or late finishesMaintaining the inventory/stock control systems to ensure equipment is located, stored and transferred correctly; ensuring stock inventory is accurateCleaning with care, expensive technical equipmentTroubleshooting hardware and software issuesEnsure good housekeeping in the facilityShipping goods- prepping / liaising with shipping coordinator to fulfil requirementsReceiving and processing new products - asset listing / upload info onto asset mgt systemOther Duties:Electric stacker duties - training providedCable making - training providedPAT testing - training providedMechanical cart maintenance - training providedMonitor Calibration – training providedCandidate Requirements:· Manual driving license - with own vehicle to get to and from the office· Flexible attitude to work arrangements, including daily tasks and working hours· Ability to meet deadlines, delivering consistency in results· Flexible approach to their daily tasks and working hours· Physically active – moving and handling of equipment required· Practical, basic DIY skills· Common sense - ability to work unsupervised· Conscientious and positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure· Flexibility and the ability to juggle tasks· Discretion - working in sensitive areas of film production· Computer literate - competent with MS Office - Excel, Word and Apple with the ability to learn new programs and applications quicklyDesirable but not essential:Interest in electronics/computers or AV, film equipmentRelevant experience with technology and DIYHigher educationUnderstanding Carnet or ATA CarnetKnowledge of DaVinci Resolve, AVID Media Composter and Pomfort SilverstackWorking Conditions:· Monday to Friday 42.5 hours average per week (some weekend hours may be required on occasion)· Hours of Business - 8 am to 6 pm covered in shift patterns, with the flexibility to work outside of these hours if required· Holiday 30 days per year, including bank holidaysPerks and Benefits· Additional holiday day after 2 years' service· Employee of the Month Award· 2 unpaid days annually for volunteeringJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €35,000.00-€38,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):Do you have a manual driving license?Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
