What You Need to Know: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Environmental Manager to join a well-established organisation in a permanent, full-time role.
In this senior position, youll help shape and deliver the site-wide environmental strategy, making a real impact on sustainability targets.
Your New Job: As Environmental Manager, youll report directly to the site General Manager and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental performance on site.
You will play a key role in developing, managing, and maintaining environmental and sustainability initiatives as part of the senior team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and implement environmental policies and management systems across the site Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with Irish and European regulations Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory authorities and public organisations Monitor emissions and manage reporting in line with licensing requirements Oversee the operational management of the sites wastewater treatment plant and support the team Track electricity and water usage to promote energy management Coordinate pollution control, waste management, recycling, and conservation initiatives Lead sustainability reporting and continuous improvement projects Support project management for environmental equipment installations Take part in audits and site inspections What Are We Looking For?: Qualification in a field related to Environment and Sustainability Management Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance Excellent leadership and communication abilities Able to work independently, innovate, and manage multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Apply for This Job: Apply for this job now or get in touch with Eugene ORourke on for more information.
