In return, you will have the chance to progress with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeDeliver high-quality hospitality service to designated meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areasSet up rooms for meetings and events, including food, beverages, tableware, and equipment in line with service standardsProvide timely delivery and replenishment of food and drinks during meetings and eventsEnsure presentation standards are consistently met, with attention to detail and cleanlinessClear and clean meeting rooms promptly after use, ensuring spaces are reset and ready for future bookingsMaintain high levels of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all timesEngage professionally with clients, responding to requests and resolving issues efficientlyFollow food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all timesSupport with stock control, replenishment, and reporting of shortages or issuesWork collaboratively with catering, kitchen, and on-site teams to ensure smooth service deliveryAdhere to service schedules and respond flexibly to changing client requirementsOur Ideal Hospitality Assistant WillPrevious experience in hospitality, catering, or customer service (contract catering experience desirable)Friendly, professional, and client-focused with a strong service mindsetReliable, punctual, and well-presentedExcellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high standardsAble to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow procedures and maintain food safety and hygiene standardsFlexible and adaptable to meet business and client needsWilling to learn and develop within a contract catering environmentAt Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
