This role involves ensuring the quality and efficiency of testing processes, as well as providing technical guidance to the testing team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage api and webservices testing projects from initiation to completionDevelop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures for api testingCollaborate with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements and resolve technical issuesConduct automated testing using selenium for web applicationsAnalyze test results and provide recommendations for improvementsMentor and guide team members on technical best practices in testingStay updated on industry trends and advancements in api and webservices testing methodologiesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and technical aspects of testingSkills RequirementStrong experience in api testing and webservices testingProficiency in using automation tools like selenium for web application testingIn-depth knowledge of sdet (software development engineer in test) methodologiesFamiliarity with programming languages such as java, python, or rubyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in testing processesAbility to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyGood communication and leadership skills.Experience with .NET applications and/or .NET unit testing frameworks.Proficiency with UI automation tools and frameworks (Playwright or Cypress preferred).Other RequirementsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Git and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins).Strong SQL skills for data validation, debugging, and end-to-end testing.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured, repeatable testing approaches.Analytical, problem-solving mindset with a desire to understand systems end to end.Collaborative, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones.Experience with testing ETL data pipelines is a plus.
