If you're passionate about your job, you'll fit right in.Role PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis. The Brand Manager (Maternity Cover) will be our brand guardian across the company while delivering high-impact sponsorships and visibility at conferences This role manages the internal graphic design team, ensuring all creative output is aligned with brand guidelines and strategic objectives. Working closely with HR, the Brand Manager will also support internal communications and oversee the activation of several sponsorship initiatives—particularly those related to breast cancer awareness, mental health, and other key initiatives.This is a fixed-term contract.Accountabilities of the RoleBrand ManagementAct as the primary brand guardian, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of the brand across all touchpoints.Deliver regular brand workshops, training sessions, and one-to-one support for teams using brand assets.Review and approve artwork, campaigns, and communication materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and tone of voice.Lead periodic updates to brand guidelines and tools as required.Team LeadershipManage the internal graphic design team (two designers) and a Marketing Assistant.Provide clear creative direction, prioritise workloads, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.Facilitate a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on creativity and brand consistency.Set objectives and hold regular 1:1's along with half year and end of year reviews.Manage external stakeholder relationship with design agency, hold monthly meetings, monitor costs versus budget and manage external design queue process.Sponsorship Activation & PartnershipsPlan, manage, and execute 6 annual sponsorship initiatives, particularly those focused on areas such as:Breast cancer awareness programmes in collaboration with Breast Cancer Ireland, Fórsa, TUI & INTOMental health and wellbeing (Elephant In The Room)Additional community or cause-related partnershipsEnsure all sponsorship activities are on brand and deliver strong visibility, engagement, and return on objectives.Manage stakeholder relationships with Sponsorship Partners.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to maximise sponsorship impact.Conferences & EventsLead the planning and delivery of over 50 conferences throughout the year.Oversee event branding, signage, collateral, and experience design.Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution and strong brand presence.Internal CommunicationsCollaborate closely with HR to develop and deliver internal communications that strengthen company culture and staff engagement.Support the creation of internal campaigns, announcements and staff events.Ensure internal messaging reflects brand tone, identity, and strategic priorities.Social & Campaign ManagementCreate campaign assets to activate Cornmarket as a brand serving the Public Sector, along with a sponsorship activation plan.Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.Monitor Performance and optimise based on insights and KPI's.Brand ResearchAssist in Brand Research requirements to understand perceptions, behaviours, and trends.Assist in translating insights into actionable recommendations for marketing and product strategiesSkills & Knowledge RequiredProven experience in brand management, marketing, or communications roles.Experience managing creative teams or designers.Strong understanding of brand governance and creative processes.Demonstrated ability to deliver events, sponsorships, or partnership programmes.Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.What We Can Offer You?Flexible working from home options as part of our Cornmarket Flex ways of workingSignificant investments in your professional development (e.g. insurance qualifications, professional qualifications relevant to your role)Annual leave (increases based on service)Flexi leave (option to take additional annual leave)Attractive & flexible pension contribution ratesHealth insurance or wellness subsidyFully paid family leave types (maternity/paternity/surrogacy)Performance based bonus/commissionIncome protectionLife coverDiscounts on financial productsComprehensive health & wellbeing programmeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeActive Sports & Social ClubBehavioural Competencies RequiredMotivated, diligent, efficient and with a can-do attitudeStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to stay calm under pressure & manage multiple projects simultaneously, to tight deadlinesKeen attention to detail, naturally creative & innovative, with a passion for marketing & measuring the effectiveness of campaignsTakes initiative and responsibility for role, and is highly self-motivatedResilient and hardworking team playerEqual Opportunities & Data Privacy NoticeCornmarket is committed to building an inclusive workplace environment, We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, striving to create a welcoming environment.
