The Heritage offers a sophisticated elegance with impeccable hospitality set in wonderful un-spoilt Laois countryside. It comprises a luxury world class Hotel and European Award-Winning Spa. The Heritage also offers guests a number of on site activities such as our Health Club with Leisure Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms, 5km Walking Track and Cinema.
We are currently looking to hire a Spa Receptionist to join our existing Spa team.
Job Role & Responsibilities
* To liaise with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times, ensuring their stay is an enjoyable and memorable one.
* To ensure all guests requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
* To ensure all guest accounts are accurate and posted in a timely fashion.
* To assist in the sale of products.
* To have a full and comprehensive understanding of the registration system.
* Provide information on SPA facilities and show the facilities to potential members.
* Answering any SPA-related queries to hotel guests and potential members.
* Opening and closing up the SPA as per standards and checklist.
* To deal with all check-ins in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
* Upselling Spa treatments and homecare.
* To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained.
* To ensure that the ambiance in departments (lights, music, and temperature) is controlled.
* To comply with the hotel's cash handling procedures.
* Keep up to date with treatment lists and homecare offered.
Requirements
* At least 1 year customer service experience (ideally in a busy, luxury Spa/Hospitality setting).
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Experience Using Booking Systems An Advantage But Not Essential.
* Experience retailing homecare an advantage but not essential.
* Flexible to work mornings, evenings & weekends where required.
