Our client is an Irish-owned engineering consultancy with offices throughout Ireland.
They continue to build and strengthen its planning and environmental services, engineering design and construction presence in the Irish market and specialise in the environment, energy, infrastructure and waste management sectors.
Our cliet is looking to recruit a Principal Project Manager-Highways to join our Sustainable Infrastructure team in either of our Cork, Dublin or Carlow offices. The role will suit candidates with a minimum of 12 years of experience. The successful candidate will join an established company and will have the opportunity to broaden their existing range of skills and experiences. This position offers exposure to a number of project types within the company, including the delivery of national roads, greenway and active travel projects and major highways design and build schemes. Our client offers the successful candidate a clear path for career development to Associate and Director positions.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and Chartered Engineer status
12 years post graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and infrastructure schemes, including delivering projects in Ireland
Delivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 4
Experience in the delivery of design and build projects
Multi-disciplinary design management experience
Experience engaging with clients, external stakeholders and subconsultants
Experience in creating and managing budgets
Candidate should be a high energy professional with excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
Flexible and a good team player
Works efficiently and on own initiative
Must be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetings
Full Drivers Licence
