We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Health & Safety Assistant to support our established H&S team. This role is based in Swinford, Co. Mayo.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Health & Safety team in applying and maintaining company safety policies and procedures.Support routine site inspections, safety audits, and the preparation of related reports.Help identify potential risks and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive action plans.Organise and maintain up-to-date safety records, documentation, and compliance files.Take part in toolbox talks, safety briefings, training workshops, and awareness sessions.Provide general administrative and coordination support to senior H&S personnel.Contribute to fostering a strong, positive safety culture across all business areas.Ideal Candidate ProfileRecent graduate or early-career professional pursuing development in Health & Safety.Genuine interest in workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions from senior staff.Basic knowledge of health and safety legislation is beneficial but not required.Eagerness to learn, grow, and build new skills.Fully eligible to work full-time in Ireland.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
