Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
About the Role:
* Serve customers in-store and process orders efficiently
* Process incoming quotation requests and enquiries
* Build strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements
* Identify sales opportunities and offer advice to achieve maximum sales
* Maintain a well-merchandised store area and liaise with suppliers as required
* Assist with purchasing, stock control, and day-to-day store management
* Liaise with warehouse and yard staff to fulfill orders
Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Leaving Certificate or higher educational qualification preferred
* Trade sales experience selling building materials or related industry preferred
* Strong industry and product knowledge (DIY and building materials products) preferred
Additional Skills:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* IT literacy, including Microsoft Office suite and POS/ERP system experience
* Positive attitude, ability to work well in a team, and flexible approach
