Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving awareness and the adoption of Cohesity’s solutions. This foundational role is suited for individuals passionate about beginning a career in sales. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists.
* Identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
* Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions.
* Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
* Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities.
* Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
* Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition.
Qualifications
* Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
* Enthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience.
* Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools.
* Experience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies.
* Confident in making cold calls and handling objections.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback.
* High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
* Collaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
* Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* College or bachelor’s degree.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g., within a forty‑five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2–3 days a week of their choosing.
