Job Description
The CE Supervisor is responsible for the effective delivery of the Community Employment (CE) Drug Rehabilitation scheme. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management and programme delivery to participants in rehabilitation.
The role involves ensuring the provision of an efficient financial and accounting system, managing staff resources, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for participants. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing training and development opportunities, including job search activities and work experience placements.
The CE Supervisor will work closely with the Service Coordinator and Sponsoring Organisation to implement the objectives of the Community Employment Drug Rehabilitation Programme.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in a related field, such as business or social sciences;
* Previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post;
* Desirable qualifications include business, financial, administration, training, human resources, project management or a related discipline;
* Experience with addiction issues and working with clients towards rehabilitation/recovery;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Competent report writing skills;
* Ability to work under the direction of the Service Coordinator/Sponsoring Organisation;
Benefits
The CE Supervisor will receive a salary commencing at Point 1 of the DSP scale. The role offers a fixed-term contract of 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding.
Others
The CE Supervisor will be required to work part of a multi-disciplinary team and participate in all training and development opportunities provided by the Sponsor Organisation and DSP. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have a good knowledge of community activities and work.
