Contract Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team, working on highway and transportation projects. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical advice and support for highway infrastructure operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Coordinating specialists, managing contracts, reviewing submissions, expediting project schedules, ensuring compliance, and conducting regular inspections;
* Preparing and presenting reports to clients;
* Drafting and reviewing correspondences to contractors;
* Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders;
* Managing day-to-day operational duties;
* Continuously improving operations and delivering quality customer service;
* Proposing alternatives for expediting/recovering project schedules with contractors for presentation to the client;
* Attending Risk Reduction meetings and recording actions and mitigations agreed;
* Monitoring contractual compliance by the contractor, and early identification of issues and problems.

Requirements and Skills:
">
* Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering; or in another relevant discipline;
* 5 years+ post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects;
* Ideal experience in mechanical/electrical systems projects and infrastructure maintenance.

Desirable Qualifications:
">
* Experience in Infrastructure O&M schemes and Intelligent Transport Systems;
* Familiarity with PPP and NEC3 contracts, commercial risk, and procurement strategies;
* Knowledge of highway engineering standards, including DMRB.
