Job Description:
The Head of Sales will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy in coordination with the Managing Director. This role involves maintaining customer support for existing accounts, identifying new sales opportunities, and organizing promotional activities such as trade shows and social events.
* Evaluate the current sales pipeline to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
* Draw up a strategic sales plan each year to achieve business objectives over the next 12 months
* Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts, providing sales and technical support as required
* Assess applications and problems on site, offering reliable advice for solutions that best benefit customers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and conveyor systems
* Sales experience at senior management level
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Experience of selling in plant/machinery sector
* Previous experience of improving a company's market position and achieving financial growth
