The role
Requirements
You have exceptional listening skills, feel energised helping others and have the ability to relate to, influence, and coach stakeholders of all levels in the organization. You exercise discretion and good judgement at all times
2+ years strong HR Business Partner experience in a fast moving and high growth environment, ideally in the technical / software industry
At least 1 year’s experience working within the Irish employment law framework
At least 1 year’s experience supporting US employees and managers
Demonstrated experience in various HR functional areas, especially organisational development, change management, and employee relations
A proven track record of successfully navigating complex and sensitive employee matters
A Bachelor’s degree in a HR related field (or CIPD Level 7 equivalent)
Excellent project management skills and a highly collaborative nature
A strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding internal customer expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
(Desirable) Experience using GSuite and HR/Cloud tools (BambooHR, Lattice, Confluence)
(Desirable) Experience in a global organization, preferably with a mix of experience in fast-growing technology companies and more established organizations

The People Team—comprising Talent Acquisition, People Operations, People Partners, and Learning & Enablement—functions as a strategic engine for LearnUpon’s growth. We manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle with a focus on operational excellence and performance optimisation

As a People Partner reporting to the Lead People Partner, you’ll be the main point of contact for Senior Leaders and Managers across our Go-To-Market departments (Sales, Business Development, Customer Experience, Marketing, Partnerships)
You’ll support office-based and remote teams, work across multiple time zones and manage competing priorities, all while maintaining discretion and good judgement at all times
Build trust-based relationships with our leaders, taking the time to learn about their business strategy and associated people-related needs
Provide support to managers and leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention
Identify people issues and trends within the business and work with key stakeholders to formulate and implement solutions
Provide Employee Relations support, thought partnership, and coaching for leaders and managers
Partner with and advise leaders and managers on processes such as performance management, compensation and leadership continuity
Monitor and ensure the effective use of data to report key metrics and trends for the departments you support
Collaborate with other members of the People team to design and implement employee processes and experiences
Regularly seek out opportunities to optimize all People processes, leveraging AI tools and automation to drive efficiency and improvement
Maintain a thorough knowledge of legal requirements for our core markets, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance across all our locations
Help establish a people manager community for sharing and helping managers learn from one another through both formal and informal activities
