Healthcare Access Specialist
This role is responsible for ensuring smooth access to healthcare services. The specialist will manage queries, telephone calls, and correspondence efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process all access functions with attention to detail.
* Project a professional image through interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.
* Manage daily contractor, visitor, and patient pathways effectively.
* Track registration processes for internal stakeholders.
* Handle car park inquiries and call volumes professionally.
Admissions and Clinical Support:
* Ensure the smooth admission of all patients at the admissions desk daily.
* Liaise with consultants to optimize hospital consultant room distribution.
* Action DNA & cancellations and communicate effectively to relevant departments.
Health and Safety:
* Take care to protect personal safety, health, and welfare as well as that of others affected by actions or omissions.
* Cooperate with management to ensure workplace safety, health, and welfare.
