We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Excavator Driver to join our construction team on several high-profile residential and infrastructure projects across County Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Safely operate 360° tracked or wheeled excavators
Excavation & Grading: Digging trenches for utilities, foundations, and drainage systems according to site blueprints and laser levels.
Site Preparation: Clearing debris, loading haul trucks, and leveling surfaces for roads or building pads.
Safety Compliance: Strictly follow Health and Safety regulations, including working around underground services and coordinating with a Banksman/Slinger.
Collaboration: Work closely with Site Foremen and ground crews to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Valid CSCS Card for Excavator operation.
Must hold a valid, Safe Pass and manual handling certs.
Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating excavators on busy construction or civil engineering sites.
Preferred Skills
Similar groundwork experience
Lifting Coordinator or Slinger/Signaller certification.
Manual Handling certificate.
