Food & Retail Sales Assistant - Kildare Village
Description
The opportunity has arisen for Food & Retail Sales Assistant to work in our Kildare Village store. These roles are being considered on a part time basis with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
* A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
* Point of Sales system - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
* Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food & Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
* Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
* Cash handling skills.
* Good computer skills.
* Advising & serving customers.
* Promoting store cards or special offers.
* Assisting with the arrangement of window displays.
* Meet pre-determined sales targets.
* Making sure the store remains tidy.
Requirements
* Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.
* Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.
* Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to work well under pressure.
* The capacity to use your initiative.
