Purpose of the role:The role of the Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) is to support the Head of Communications in creating, implementing and overseeing internal and external communications programmes that effectively promote the hospital and its employees, ensuring that all messaging aligns with the mission and strategic ambitions of the hospital and the Health Services Executives People Strategy. They will oversee the day-to day operations of the office, deputise for the Head of Communications when required, support out of hours work, and will work closely with the Head of Communications to advance the areas outlined above.
