Job Description
An Automation Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Waterford based pharmaceutical client. This is a 12-month contractor position. If you have experience with Siemens PLC then this is the position for you
Role of this position
1. Day to day support for any automation issues in process & packaging areas
2. Completion of Weekly PM completion on equipment as required.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults to minimize downtime
4. Complete equipment and system backups where required
5. Assist with quality event investigations for Automation related issues as required.
6. Liaise with vendors to support systems
7. Upkeep of Automation documentation
8. Diagnosis of PLC Programming faults
9. Project support as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
10. Level 6 or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
11. 3 Year+ in Automation Technician role in a medical device industry.
12. Working knowledge of Siemens, Schneider PLCs
