The Company:Monroes is one of Galway's best-known live music venues and are currently looking for anexperienced Venue Supervisor. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will lead the event co-ordination and operational success of the venue.Responsibilities:Working closely with promoter to ensure smooth running of calendar events.Overseeing general operations of live gigsFollowing venue standard operating proceduresOpening and closing of live venueGeneral Admin & BookingsBar setup & supervisionSocial media postingIn-house print marketingBand & artist liaisonWorking with engineer team to ensure bands and acts times are followedStaff trainingOverseeing of clean-up of live venueSetting up and maintenance of relationships with local vendors to book in various functions and eventsWorking with management and maintenance team to flag repairs and maintenance issuesStrategising to increase revenue in the live venue. Identifying new acts/events.Requirements:Candidates should have a strong aptitude for music and entertainment industryOrganisational skills and forecasting to identify future issuesWarm and welcoming personalityBudgeting & familiar with Microsoft excel and till systemsAbility to think on your feet and problem solving
