Key Responsibilities
 * Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for retrofit works in compliance with current building regulations, SEAI guidelines, and local authority standards.
 * Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
 * Building rapport and trust with customers and creating impactful customer relationships
 * Conduct site surveys and measure‑ups to assess the suitability of retrofit solutions such as insulation, heat systems, ventilation and renewables.
 * Monitor and undertake regular work quality checks so that they are completed to company and project standards.
 * Advise client on benefits and the impact of retrofit measures and negotiate the sale, securing the project.
 * Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure accurate and feasible retrofit designs. Liaise with installers and contractors to ensure works are carried out to the agreed specification and standards.
 * Familiarity with SR54 Code of Practice for retrofitting works an advantage but training will be provided.
 * Provide technical input to project managers during the execution of works, resolving onsite issues when needed.
 * Maintain accurate records of project documentation and revisions in line with quality assurance procedures.
Requirements
 * Minimum 2 years of experience in residential construction or retrofit projects (experience with SEAI schemes is an advantage).
 * Knowledge of Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Energy) and other relevant building regulations would be an advantage.
 * Familiarity with domestic retrofit measures including insulation, heating systems, ventilation, airtightness and renewables.
 * Strong drawing skills and attention to detail.
 * Excellent organisational and communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills and Experience
 * BER Assessor qualification or experience with DEAP calculations an advantage but not a requirement.
 * Experience working within energy retrofit industry.
 * Knowledge of grant application processes and technical documentation required for SEAI submissions an advantage but not a requirement. Full training will be provided.
