The Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to build and establish relationships with new customers.
The successful candidate will have high-level knowledge of our products and services and be able to effectively communicate their value to customers.
You will be responsible for achieving weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets set by management, as well as following up on new customer accounts to ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify prospects and manage the sales cycle of all residential customers.
* Set appointments and make effective qualifying sales calls.
* Anticipate customer needs and address them accordingly.
* Follow up on customer satisfaction and provide feedback.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
* Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
* Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
* 1-2 years of experience in sales.
* 1+ years of experience in the waste industry (not essential).
Additional Details
This role is based in Dundalk and covers most of the county. You will be required to deliver bins to customers upon set-up and work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A company van is provided for working hours only.
