Tipperary Farm Description A progressive dairy farm seeking a reliable and experienced person to assist during the busy spring period.
Role Overview This is a part-time position for February and March, suitable for someone available mornings only or 2-3 days per week .
The role would suit an experienced dairy worker who can work confidently and independently.
Key Responsibilities Milking Livestock Morning milking Monitoring cow health and welfare Assisting with calving and early lactation cows Feeding and general stock care Spring Duties Calving supervision and calf care Yard work during peak spring workload Supporting day-to-day spring farm operations Machinery General Work Operating tractors and basic farm machinery Scraping, feeding, and general yard duties Maintaining a clean and organised work area Experience Requirements Previous dairy farming experience essential Confident handling livestock Machinery experience required Ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Working Hours Mornings only or 2-3 days per week February and March (with possible flexibility) Ideal Candidate Experienced dairy worker seeking part-time spring work Comfortable working alone Local to the Templetuohy area preferred, as accommodation is not provided with this role
