Our client is one of Cork's most established and respected IT Service Providers, supporting a broad portfolio of commercial clients across multiple sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their team at their Cork City office.
This is a fully office-based, full-time permanent position, offering long-term stability within a professional and fast-paced IT environment.
Role Overview
The Office Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
This role is 100% office-based and requires a highly organised individual with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to work in a dynamic, service-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day on-site office administration and general office operations
Acting as the first point of contact for calls, emails and office visitors
Coordinating diaries, meetings and in-person appointments
Supporting internal teams with administrative and documentation requirements
Processing invoices, purchase orders and basic accounts administration
Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and internal databases
Assisting with onboarding documentation for new employees
Ordering office supplies and liaising with external vendors and service providers
Supporting management with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements
Previous experience in an office administration or administrative support role
Ability and willingness to work in a fully office-based role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy office environment
High attention to detail and a professional approach
Experience working in an IT, technical, or service-based company is an advantage
