Job Overview:
We require a highly motivated and organised purchasing professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in purchasing and procurement, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing materials and services, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records and reports, and provide support to other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchasing and procurement of materials and services based on system requirements and production program needs.
* General administration of all related processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, order confirmations, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and supplier negotiations.
* Maintaining item data within the MRP system, monitoring and analysing supplier delivery performance, updating delivery dates, processing claims, identifying stakeholder business needs, and optimising purchasing parameters to reduce inventory levels while ensuring availability.
